Favorite clothing store! FREE PEOPLE

The clothing brand Free People has amazing clothes, shoes, and accessories. They carry every type of unique style you may represent and they always find a way to make you fall in love with one of their pieces. The designers behind Free People actually go to different countries to be inspired and then create these extravagant garments. They also have a vintage section where they sock old military boots, belts, Levi's, and jewelry. Although it's pretty pricey, Free People is extremely high quality and nothing less. I cant help myself but to check their web sight every week for there new merchandise. Here are some of my new favorite things!

Downtown Dress-

Oh my god. This dress is beautiful and I desperately want it. Next formal dance it's mine! I could pair it up with my moms Vintage white Merriam Haskell necklace and red or blue pumps.. In this dress there seems to be layers of different fabrics that intertwine. It also is a very strechy fabric so it's easy to put on and off.

One of a kind vintage Flower Necklace

$168... ? For something you could do yourself. My local vintage jewelry store always has these unique flowers (as pins). They're so cheap and there's no reason to spend so much money on something when you can make it! Next time I go I'll make sure to buy some and re -create a necklace inspired by this.

Miranda Wooden Heel-
Because I'm a vegan it's SO hard to try and find cute leather-free shoes, exspecially heels. Luckily of FP they have a section on there web sight where they list all the shoes that are leather-free. Hip Hip Hooray!!

" If slaughter houses had glass walls then everyone would be vegetarian"

Meet your Meat, a undercover collaborative investigation video created by Peta, made me feel sick to my stomach. The video intended to "spill the secrets"upon the meat and dairy industries. For fourteen and a half years of my life I contributed to this inhumane and brutal way of killing. I wondered to myself if I feel this bad, then shouldn't everyone else be too? Why hadn't I known that this is what the factories do to get the products I consume? Is it a secret? This video has everything the industries don't want you to see. The terrifying scenes make you cringe and want to stop watching. But I encourage you otherwise, watch the whole video to get a full understanding of what really goes on.

I remember my friend said she saw the video and tried to convince me it was fake....
She said that it was photo shopped and I was ludicrous for believing it. I know it's a horrible thing to grasp, but this video footage is REAL. The methods they show are the real ways factories use to slaughter their cattle and other animals. I am now proud of myself that I became a Vegan, all though it was hard at first I feel I'm making the difference. We all can make a difference together by becoming vegetarian or simply not eating meat for a day out of the week.

This is something we can stop as a society.
